It was my love of guitars that inspired me to start Calder. It seemed to me that an instrument so beautiful, so truly iconic, deserved a very special case. 

The design process took 7 years and involved many scientists, composite specialists, guitars makers and craftspeople in the UK and USA.

Each case is built to order, we make a super tough carbon fiber shell, wrap it in top grain leather and line it with fine silk velvet over high density foam.

A Calder is a unique piece, combining traditional skills and modern materials to achieve outstanding protection, handsome appearance and durability.
